Talia Sullivan is an emerging artist, ( b. 2001, Devon UK) based in Savannah, GA. In her studio practice, Sullivan explores the relationship between humanity and the vastness of the landscape. Her art often features anonymous figures seamlessly integrated into expansive natural settings. Through her work, she seeks to evoke a sense of wonder and reverence for the world around us. Talia Sullivan has been exhibited in Savannah, Atlanta, Richmond and London. She is currently persuing an MFA in Painting and Printmaking at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
Guided by a lifelong connection to movement and the outdoors, Sullivan’s paintings seek to recapture the fleeting sense of openness found in travel and the natural world—an invitation for viewers to step beyond enclosed spaces and into that expansive freedom.
Drawn to space as both presence and sensation, her recent work often starts from recollections or photographs of specific places. These impressions are transformed through movement and material into a tactile record of experience. Color—especially in vibrant, fresh tones—serves to immerse the viewer, evoking the freshness and vitality of the landscapes that ground us.
